Tuition Reimbursement

Employees are encouraged to take education and training courses related to their profession. To be eligible for tuition reimbursement, an employee must be a regular employee, have completed 6 months of service, be on the payroll when the course is completed, and receive at least a “C” or passing grade in the class. When appropriate, and with prior approval of the Company, the office will pay for up to 80% of the class with a maximum of $2,000 in a calendar year. Fireclay is committed to helping employees prepare for a secure retirement. Fireclay will match participants' contributions up to 4% of their salary. Visit Ascensus to register.

 

No Interest Loan

Fireclay Tile makes no interest loans available to its employees up to $1,000 maximum. The loan is repaid via post tax payroll deductions. Limit of one loan per 12 months and repayment is minimally 10% of total loan amount per pay period. Employees must have at least one year of service with FCT, 40 hours of accrued PTO and no current performance issues. Reach out to the People Department to participate.

Tile Discounts (Employee and Family & Friends) Love Credit

Employees are entitled to a 75% discount off products for purchases for their own residence. If purchasing for a direct family member (i.e. parent, sibling, spouse, or child), they are entitled a 50% discount. Friends and family can get a 20% discount. There is also a once-a-year LOVE discount, in which an employee can extend a 75% discount to someone in need for a retail value of up to $10,000. Commuter Benefit

A Commuter Benefits plan lets you contribute a portion of your pay before it's taxed, to an account you can use to pay for eligible work-related commuting expenses. You can contribute up to $280.00 to parking expenses and up to $280.00 to transit expenses every month.

Since your contribution isn't taxed, you can save up to 40% on these expenses. You can keep an eye on your balance, submit claims, and update your contribution amount at any time—all from your WEX Benefits Account.

Charitable Giving Matching Up to $250/Year

Fireclay Tile will match your charitable giving up to $250/year to help support the communities and organizations that you love. Donations by Fireclay Tile are made the month following the quarter’s end.

The program will be handled as follows:

  • You donate directly to your nonprofit of choice. This must be a 501c3 organization

  • Notify us about your contribution, so that we can match it by submitting this form

  • You can upload receipts on the form or email accounts@fireclaytile.com

  • You will be allowed to have up to $250 matched per year

  • Fireclay maintains discretion over any and all its contributions

Mobile Phone Stipend

Employees who hold positions that include the need for a cell phone may receive a cell phone stipend to compensate for business-related costs incurred when using their individually-owned cell phones. The stipend will be considered a non-taxable fringe benefit to the employee. The level of cash subsidy (stipend) will be determined by a person’s job duties as it relates to cell phone use and access. Safety Boot Program

We care about your safety from day one! As part of our Safety Boot Program, we ask that new hires purchase their safety shoes prior to starting. Don't worry, you'll be reimbursed up to $120 once you've completed three months of full-time work. This way, you can start your new job with peace of mind knowing you have the proper gear to keep you safe. It is the employees responsibility to follow all provisions of this program and its related procedures. These include wearing the PPE, when and where it is required to do so.

 

Notary Public Service

Introducing On-Site Notary Public Services! Notaries are public officials who serve as a witness of the signing of important documents. The regular fee per signature is $15, which will be waived for all regular Fireclay Teammates. Employee Referral Program

Fireclay’s Referral Program is an incentive program designed to encourage teammates (“Referring Teammate”) to “Always be Recruiting.” Recommend qualified friends, relatives, colleagues, or people from their network to Fireclay Tile, for employment, subject to the requirements of this policy. In return for these referrals, Referring Teammates are rewarded with a referral bonus which is payable three (3) months after the Referred Candidate (each a “Referred Candidate”) starts employment with Fireclay Tile, and requirements for the referral bonus are met.
